Design Consultation & Rates
Who: Residential (Homeowners) and Small Commercial Clients.
What: Consulting on interior design and decorating projects. Remodeling (we love redesigning a layout), organization, paint colors, picking out finishes, shopping for furniture, adding new décor, rearranging furniture, etc.
Where: Greater Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR areas.
How: We start with a design consultation which (usually) takes up to 2 hours. From here we assess the project; your style, timeline, as well as budget, and put together a plan.
How Much: We charge $150.00 for the initial consultation, $75.00 an hour for in-person design services (such as shopping for design finishes, furniture and décor or on-site visits monitoring the progression of the project), and $50.00 an hour for behind the scenes design and research (creating hand and computer design renderings, Pinterest and Houzz idea boards, or specific research for your project).
Why: We love design in any form and working with you. Our intention is to help you create whatever it is you’re after in your space; guiding the project in the direction that benefits you, and the architecture of your home, or office.
To lighten or brighten your space, and to open it up, we may suggest moving or removing walls, give options for lighter paint colors and finishes, and remove or replace items of furniture and décor.
Making your place more comfortable may literally mean adding or subtracting hard and soft finishes.
Looking to shake things up? We can bring in prints, patterns, and colors where needed.
What is the feel or mood you would like to create in your space? Surprisingly, it may be a small thing that needs adjusted to improve it.
