The basket in a home is equal to a women's bucket purse. In other words, they get filled with an assortment of items. Though you may think you are more organized, if you aren't aware of what's in the bottom of the basket, I assure you, you're not! 

Upgrade your basket habit to using a tray to collect small items. They are attractive and with one glance you're able to view everything at once. 

This cute dotty tray found at Main St. Station, a resale shop in Battle Ground, WA allowed the items on my coffee table to feel contained and orderly.
